Zhen Mei Green tea also known as “ChunMee” green tea, is a very popular green tea, has a dusty green appearance and is generally more acidic and less sweet than other green teas. It was originally produced in the Chinese Wuyuan, Jiangxi province, which produce high quality green tea triangle area, the quantities of green tea production accounts for 1 / 3 of Chinese green tea. Because these area enjoy four distinct seasons, abundant vegetation, forest coverage of 80%, and average annual temperature is 15 ℃ -18 ℃, winter temperatures generally -8 ℃. All of our Zhen Mei green loose tea are come from our tea garden which are managed by adopting USDA and EU practice and certificated by ECOCERT. We also get Fair Trade certification in 2005 as producer organization. The Tea Association has used the premiums to renovate factories, establish a microcredit program, and build a school, among many other initiatives.
The tea is divided into several grades with numbers. Some examples are: 41022, 4011, 9371, 8147, 9367, 9366, 3008 or 3009. The number 41022 in this case represents the highest quality while number 8147 consists practically only broken leaves. The most popular grade which are selling to US market are 9371 and 41002. The tea which we are presenting is Organic Zhen Mei 9371
This tea has a bright flavor, light tangy sweetness, and a toasty warm clean finish, making it an excellent green tea during the day or night, with a nice well-rounded flavor and after taste.
