The name 'gunpowder' comes from the shape of these green tea leaves when they've been rolled-tightly wrapped pellets, like old fashioned gun shot. Our gunpowder come from the organic tea garden in Wuyuan county , which is known as China ‘s Golden Green Tea Triangle. Tiny pellets open up in hot water to give strong, greeny-coppery liquor with a pungent taste.  Our gunpowder tea brews mellow and layered, with a deep, smoky flavor profile. Our tea gardens are managed by adopting USDA and EU practice and certificated by ECOCERT.  All the tea gardens locate at the mountain area with elevation range from 1700 to 2300 meters and are far away from any town or city
